Your guest room is not a guest room. Not only should it be free of cobwebs, it should not contain the twenty-six boxes in a curious assortment of cardboard taped together and labeled as Miscellaneous. Banish these things, that particular meaningful sentimentality (emphasis on mental) that a totally impartial, unbiased onlooker sees when he sees them as third parties.
For all interested we have a yard sale. The garbage: for sale! All these things that we've stuck to on this rainy day: For Sale! The old wedding gifts with which we have tried for years to determine the purpose: For Sale! The clothes we will never grow into: for sale! Pricing, labeling, and rearranging our past treasures to appeal to neighborhood shoppers is what makes this glorious weekend. Oh, and all the items that embodied the guest room: For Sale!
I've recently helped my girlfriend use Priceline Negotiator to book hotel rooms during her travels, and the rooms we look at and rejoice in are the dreams. They meet our needs and whims in a luxurious environment compared to a five-star constellation. That's the stuff. This is what your guest room needs. If all your rooms and home offered a stay above the guest, it was cereal boxes of a personal size and clean sheets. Why then would they find no reason for the local hotel?
This spacious size does not fill the rest of the area, but offers comfortable space for a group of two. With a high thread count of your choice of Egyptian, organic or premium cotton in a double or single layer, your loved ones can glide in a smooth, silky, enveloping bath of velvety linens. For some, the need for white noise is needed both at home and especially out of town, but I dare you feel sleepless in this bed!
My parents live in an old house whose ideal main bathroom is Jack and Jill. Many are the embarrassing and unpleasant moments of the midnight break in the bathroom just to meet another such creature whose nocturnal activity was of the same kind as in the bathroom. A full bathroom with extra toiletries for unexpected guests, who suffer from separation fears as their bags are still in the air, will make sure your guests feel at home they were expected! Do not forget to keep your hand, bath and bath towels!
